      Enable the 5D button on the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced in Ground Control

      How to activate the 5D button on the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced in Measure Ground Control


      There is an issue with the default DJI software that comes pre-installed on the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced (M2EA) remote control.  This guide will help you install a fix provided by DJI that will enable the 5D button for use with Measure Ground Control.


      The 5D button is a valuable control that lets users control gimbal pitch, exposure compensation, and switch between display modes.

      Download and installation

      1. Open the lightning browser on the M2EA remote.
      2. Click here to download the patch provided by DJI - bit.ly/5d-button.
      3. On the controller open the downloads app and install the APK. 
      4. Once the patch is installed, open the controller's settings app and find
        Settings -> DJILAB.
      5. In the DJILAB panel there is a toggle with Chinese text, please make sure this toggle is enabled.

        The 5D button should now work with Measure Ground Control.
